Dr. Mary Ochieng, the Research Director at the Centre for Applied Economics, specializes in mathematics teacher learning and student mathematical thinking. She holds a Ph.D. and Master’s degree in mathematics education from Western Michigan University. Additionally, she possesses a Master’s degree in Social Statistics from the University of Nairobi and a Bachelor of Science degree in education from Kenyatta University.
