Dr. Bernhards Ogutu, a distinguished medical professional, serves as the Director of the Centre for Research in Therapeutic Sciences (CREATES) at Strathmore University, Nairobi. He is also the Chief Research Officer at the Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) and a Senior Clinical Trialist with the Malaria Clinical Trials Alliance of the INDEPTH-Network.

Dr. Ogutu’s impressive career is marked by over 50 peer-reviewed publications. His research expertise spans clinical trials, disease pathogenesis, and clinical therapeutics, with a particular focus on malaria and capacity development for clinical trials.

He earned his MBChB, MMed, and PhD degrees from the University of Nairobi, and he holds board certifications as a Medical Practitioner, Paediatrician, and Clinical Pharmacologist. Dr. Ogutu’s contributions are instrumental in advancing medical research and therapeutic sciences.
